Podcasts

When using podcasts or videos during the “Word” portion of the Word-Share-Prayer pod meeting, take care to permit ample time for discussion afterward, even if this means not listening to or watching the entire podcast or video.

As an example, using the podcasts found at http://www.BuildingOneAnother.com, here are some potential seven-week series. These podcasts are generally around 15 minutes long. Note that there are discussion questions on each module’s webpage.

Group Study Books

The BibleGPS by Kobus Genis. This ten-week course is a great introduction to the Bible and is designed for small groups – pods – to work through the material and then for the pod members to each lead a new pod through the material. Discipleship Essentials by Greg Ogden. This book is designed for those interested in deep personal Christian growth.
